Apps for the Girls

Fashion isn’t always about the clothes you wear, the makeup that you apply to your face, the shoes you wear for special occasions and following the latest trends in music. There are lots of other fashionable and lovely things out there that you can follow and of which to be a fan. I’m not really into computers to the extent where they dominate my life but I readily admit that they do play a vital part. Keeping that in mind it is rather fashionable to be walking around with a smartphone and if you’ve got the phone and any other electronic devices you can’t live without your apps.

When you’re writing about fashion and trends as I do there are some fantastic apps available that keep you right up to date on what’s the latest thing to hit the market. We are not all going out and buying the latest all the time, but it’s nice to know that if you are in a shop looking for something different that the choice you finally make is at least somewhere in the realm of current if we’re talking fashion. To be able to do that you need to press that particular icon on your phone or your iPad and get the answer to your question or your search immediately.

If the existing apps don’t do it for you these days, you have the exciting option of going out, finding an iOS developer and getting them to put your great idea into a format that your friends can share. In some of the investigations that I have carried out when I was thinking about doing the same thing, I had to go hunting for the original source on where I could actually get an app developed.

For those of my readers out there that have had that little lightbulb go off in their heads while thinking about creating a new app, I suggest you use this link and have a go. Wouldn’t you love to be able to come up with a genius app like the one that L’Oreal put out on the market called Make Up Genius which is as good as you are going to get to help you apply your lipstick, mascara, and eyeliner? Honestly girls, there is no excuse for you going out looking like a painted doll and a fashion disaster. Just download whatever app suits you, be it fashion or makeup, and you’re sure to look like $1 million.

I’m not usually one to rant about anything in particular but you have to admit that the arrival of the app has been a godsend to many of us. Great fashion apps like Pose and Whisp are ever so helpful when it comes to deciding what to buy for what to wear. I’m not quite sure how this app business works but apparently 99% of apps can be downloaded free but the creator seems to be able to make a lot of money. Go figure!
