A homemade homemade shower gel cleans better than store bought products do. I know that this is a fact because I’ve tried both and they can’t all be the same. When shopping for the ingredients, make sure that you look for something that has baking soda. This will help make your solution foam. The baking soda will also make a big difference when applying the gel. If you’re using store bought products, then you will want to avoid the hydrogen peroxide. This is something that can burn your skin and is also potentially harmful.
After you have the ingredients, it’s time to get out the shower gel. Put a few drops in a large bottle and add water to it. Pour the solution into your shower and start working it in. Don’t worry about bubbles forming or anything. This is supposed to be easy!
When your turn off the faucet, wait for it to fully dry before you turn it back on. It doesn’t take long to dry. Once it has dried completely, you can put it away somewhere safe. Before using it, test a small amount to make sure it will work for you. If you do not like the results, then go back to the drawing board.
Of course, you can always make more than is necessary. If you decide to make a gallon at a time, then you can probably save that to use for other things around the house. The great thing about homemade shower gels is that you can let your imagination run wild. If you want to add some fragrance to it, then that’s easy to do as well. Just take a few drops of essential oils and pour them into a small spray bottle and spray it on your body. It may take a few days for the scent to settle, but after that, who knows what you’ll smell like!
